The Season’s Final Regattas

Two final regattas will cap the 2015 racing season – both of which are qualifiers for the OCSA Participation and Performance Trophy*.

On September 26-27, the Corinthian Yacht Club of Portland will host the CYC Fall Regatta. The two-day event is expected to take place during a spectacular autumn forecast, with good wind and plenty of sunshine, topped off with a Super Blood Moon-lunar eclipse on Sunday evening. Be part of the fun and register to race at: https://sailpdx.org/racing/event-notice-board/

The next weekend, Portland Yacht Club (PYC) will then sponsor their annual Robert A Smith Regatta on Saturday and Sunday, October 3-4. All boats are welcome! To register, visit the Event Notice Board on the SailPDX website. Following each day’s races, the PYC bar will be open for those wanting to wet their whistle. The bar menu will be available on Saturday, while a buffet dinner is being offered for purchase on Sunday. Regatta results will be announced at the club Sunday evening. Feel free to bring your crew, family & friends for the usual “liars and braggers” session – it’s sure to be an entertaining weekend!

We look forward to seeing you on the water and at the club!

*Note: The winner of the OCSA Participation and Performance Trophy will be presented the coveted award on November 7th during the OCSA Tropical Awards Party & Banquet at Portland Yacht Club. To attend the event, tickets may be purchased via this link.
