Washington and Oregon approved nine nights of commercial salmon fishing on the lower Columbia River, between Woodland and Beacon Rock, beginning this Sunday, August 3rd. Sailors and boaters should be aware that they will likely encounter gillnetters every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9 PM to 6 AM through Thursday, August 21. For more information, click here.
