It’s not quite time to register for our Fall/Winter/Spring Sailing on Sundays tradition yet. However, we’d like to test a new series comprised of four Sundays that would take the place of the beer can races over the next two months. PYC will run the races. They will start on Sunday, 17:00, to take advantage of the afternoon breeze, will include several marks, be casual, but still keep score. If this is well attended, the series would run from mid-July to the end of August (~6 race days) in 2024. THE FIRST RACE IS THIS SUNDAY JULY 23
The idea is to get folks out on beautiful summer days with an eye toward newbies and folks who maybe aren’t racing the SYSCO evening series. The races will be about an hour. The poster is attached. You can register any time up to noon on the day of the race and it will keep you registered for the whole series. It costs $10 for the entire series to handle Regatta Network registration/scoring fees and you may register throughout the entire series. Miss the first one, sign-up for the Second and sail the Third and Fourth!
PYC will be open after to any racers no matter the club on all race days except this weekend (July 23rd) due to a private event. PYC Gate Code: 33100 after sailing.
Did I mention, THE FIRST RACE IS THIS SUNDAY JULY 23. Sign up now. All fleets and all sizes of boats are welcome just like in the fall.
