OCSA invites all sailors and racers to attend The North U Rules and Tactics Seminar
Description
The new Racing Rules of Sailing go into effect January 1, 2013. The North U Rules & Tactics Seminar, presented by Dave Perry, explains the rules (old and new) in a clear and entertaining way, and shows how the rules create racing tactics. Using a curriculum created jointly by Dave Perry, David Dellenbaugh and Bill Gladstone, along with high-action video, you’ll learn how to use the rules to control other boats and how to keep your rivals from controlling you. Everyone receives the 2013 Rules & Tactics Seminar Workbook.
No matter what your rules knowledge, you’ll leave viewing packed starting lines, crowded mark roundings and close crossings as opportunities instead of challenges. This is a unique 2-day seminar with a meet the expert and mock protest session on Friday night and a full day seminar on Saturday.
