PYC (Portland Yacht Club) has made two changes to the Notice of Race for the PYC Fall Regatta (September 22-23) and the Robert A Smith Regatta (October 6-7). The following has also been updated on the Notice Boards for each regatta.
These are the changes:
PYC Fall Regatta
1: Portland Yacht Club shall be using red balls for all marks except the optional starting mark which shall be a green mark.
2: The first warning signal for both days are changed to 1500 hours due to low tides and predicted low river levels. On Sunday there shall be no start after 1700 hours.
Robert A Smith Regatta
1: Portland Yacht Club shall be using red balls for all marks except the optional starting mark which shall be a green mark.
2: The first warning signal on Sunday October 7 will be 1400 hours due to low tide and predicted low river levels. On Sunday there will be no start after 1700 hours.
