With continued and improved estimates for the Spring Chinook run, the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife has extended recreational salmon fishing by reopening the season from May 15 – June 15. This means that sailors pm the Lower Columbia River can expect to see more fishing boats, either trolling and/or at anchor. Rules of the “water” apply, whether you’re racing or cruising, so please be courteous – our waterways are for everyone to enjoy.
