It’s been a long, cold winter so far, so we’re happy to remind you of warmer things to come. It’s time to renew your OCSA membership! The online-only membership is $20, while regular membership (providing you with a hard copy of the book) is $30. Laminated course charts are $2. You’ll need to visit a distribution point to get your book and course chart. (Locations are listed at the end of this post.)
As approved by your club’s representative/OCSA board, you’ll need to be a member of OCSA to participate in all club-sponsored racing this year. This ensures OCSA has a small budget to meet the needs of the Portland sailing community. And this year you’ll be getting a quite a bang for your buck: we are reimbursing those who went to U.S. Sailing PRO and Judges workshops if they agree to act as PRO or sit on a protest during the 2017 race season, subsidizing the cost of the Dave Perry seminar, providing and maintaining our amazing sailpdx.org website, gaining Coast Guard approval for our river racing, and of course hosting the Annual awards banquet!
